Membership Fee & Payment

Membership Year

- January to December of a particular year.
- Membership shall be in arrears on the first day of the January each year.

Renewal Period

There is a period of 30 days for renewal of membership based on annual subscription.

Membership Charges

The Membership subscriptions Charges/fees for all categories of members shall be determined and published by the Executive Committee of MAI and duly approved by the General Body of MAI.

Admission Fee

An additional admission fee of Rs.100/-^* is mandatory for all categories.

Membership subscriptions and charges as published under Section 1(d) of the MAI Rules, Regulation & Bye-Laws.

Following shall be the membership subscriptions Charges/Fees for respective members, which can only be, upon recommendation (with full justification) by the Executive Committee, revised by the General Body of MAIatits Annual General Meeting:

Approval

Membership is subject to the approval by the Executive Body of MAI.

Application Form

Kindly fill-up both sides of the form and submit it in back-to-back, duplex or double-sided printing along with your Bio-data / CV.

Declaration by Introducer

Application shall not be entertained without the required 'Declaration by Introducer'.

$ FOR THREE YEARS ONLY. Membership may be extended upon due active participation in MAI events for consecutive three years.

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

Privileges of Membership

The following privileges are specified under Section 1(e) of the MAI Rules, Regulation & Bye-Laws.

Members shall have the right to have prior and proper information relating to the meetings and other activities of the MAI.

Members shall be allowed to participate in meetings, seminars, symposiums, workshops, conferences etc. on prescribed norms and fees fixed for the same.

Life members shall be eligible to be elected to any office of the Association and shall have the right to vote or stand for election.

Members shall have the right to use the library of the MAI free of charge.

Members shall have the right to attend lectures, seminars, exhibitions, tours and conferences organized by the MAI on submission of the prescribed form and fees.

Student members subsequently joining museum service shall become eligible for the applicable Life or Associate membership categories after completing the required formalities.

Institutional and student members shall have the right to ask for technical help wherever required.

Eligible members may receive the Association's Memorandum, Rules and Regulations and Bye-laws, as well as the Journal and other publications as decided by the Executive Committee against the membership fee for the year. Student members shall receive 50% discount for all types of publications of the Association.

The Annual Report of the Association shall be distributed free of charge to all members of the MAI through digital mode.
